About Dr. Nabil Ebraheim

Certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, Dr. Nabil Ebraheim possesses more than 30 years’ experience in this field and is licensed to practice medicine in five states. He serves as the chairman of the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Toledo Medical Center, where he teaches a number of courses on the subject. Dr. Nabil Ebraheim also directs the university’s Orthopaedic Surgery Residency program and is in charge of the Orthopaedic Trauma program.

His experience includes directing an assortment of symposia and seminars throughout Ohio. Additionally, he moderated several Spine Conferences and provided instruction on international fixation techniques for two seminars in Toronto, Canada. Dr. Ebraheim maintains affiliations with several Toledo hospitals, including St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Flower Memorial Hospital, and St. Anne Mercy Hospital.

Over the course of his career, Dr. Nabil Ebraheim has received numerous awards and recognitions for contributions to the field of orthopaedic medicine. Castle Connolly Medical named him among its top doctors between 2007 and 2015, and he received a Best Paper Award from the Japanese Spine Research Society in 2005. He has also published more than 450 papers.
